The Heart of Georgia Altamaha Regional Commission (HOGA RC) is a public sector, non-profit planning and development agency that serves a 17 county region in the central portion of Central Georgia including the Counties of: Appling, Bleckley, Candler, Dodge, Emanuel, Evans, Jeff Davis, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Tattnall, Telfair, Toombs, Treutlen, Wayne, Wheeler and Wilcox.

Established in 1963, the Southern Georgia Regional Commission is a regional planning and intergovernmental coordination agency which serves 45 municipalities and 18 counties in Southern Georgia.
Our mission is to effectively and efficiently oversee the implementation and administration of programs and services that assist local governments, resulting in an improved quality of life for Southern Georgians.

The Coastal Area Agency on Aging (AAA), coastal Georgia's advocate for seniors, was formed in 1973 as a department of the Coastal Regional Commission (CRC). We strive to develop a comprehensive, coordinated system of services that promote the independence and well-being of older adults, those with disabilities, and their caregivers. We strive to provide these individuals with information and access to needed services. We serve the coastal region, which includes Bryan, Bulloch, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, and McIntosh counties.
